We were tasked to design an editorial spread for an existing article from the magazine Psychology Today. This requires acute attention to typographical hierarchy and rules in conjunction with our own developed imagery. Together, we must create a cohesive spread that speaks to the content of the article and pays attention to visual syntax.
ARTICLE RESEARCH
I skimmed through dozens of Psychology Today articles before narrowing it down to three. As I jotted down the main bullet points of each article, I instantly  realized that I wanted to do my spread on something which is greatly impacting our lives so I went with the article, “3 Ways We’re Already Using AI in Mental Health Care”. This article discusses how AI is being used as an adjunct to assist clinicians in more effective treatments.
